We are not able to accommodate visitors without a forward reservation. If you wish to stay with us at the last-minute, please call us first.

Your Visa or MasterCard details are required to secure your reservation, though we will not charge your card at this time.
For 6 day or longer stays a 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Deposits for bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to arrival will not be refunded unless the unit can be refilled for the full term of your booking.
Once we have received your reservation and credit card details, we will email you a Booking Confirmation plus a map to find us. PLEASE NOTE: There is no sign on the highway. You will not be able to find us without the map!
Payment On Arrival
The full or remaining amount of your stay is payable upon arrival. Payment is on a one account, one payment/receipt basis.
Checkin and Checkout Times
Occupancy time is from 3.00pm on day of arrival until 10.00am on day of departure. No reduction for early departure or late arrival.
Cancellation
Stays 5 days or less: No charge will be made to your card unless you fail to arrive without having cancelled by 4pm two days before your scheduled arrival date. In this event we would charge one night’s room fee to your card.

WebSite security
We use a secure server and strong encryption to send your reservation details to our office.
If you are not comfortable with this, or wish to make other arrangements, then feel free to phone us instead.
Transport
SurfWatch is located 10 minutes drive from Kaikoura. If you have no vehicle transport and wish to stay for at least two nights, we will pick you up and drop you off at the Kaikoura Information centre at agreed times.
